Basically everything is closed on Sundays in France, so I spent most of my day sitting in my cold, cold room and trying to decorate a little bit. Then I realized it's high time I put some photos up of my place so you can imagine me there. Just picture me with a little beret and baguette under my arm and you've pretty much got the idea.
My bedroom!
And on the other side, my dining room...
Kitchenette
Shelves stocked full of French food and Water Street coffee.
My bathroom. Not very exciting.
As you can see, I've started putting up some pictures above my bed! Look closely, there's probably one of you.
The view from my window!

What a cute studio! I especially like your view :)
ReplyDeletePretty sweet. Someone should call the contractor though, the ceiling looks a little off. That is a cool view, but I hope that isn't a bell tower. That would get annoying.
ReplyDeleteWell, Daniel, it IS unfortunately a bell tower.... It's going to take me awhile before I get used to it. I should probably just buy some earplugs.
ReplyDeleteOh, goody. Actually you probably will get used to it. Back at my mom's house in Macomb we lived literally next door to a church and of course my room was on the side of the house closest to it. Every sunday morning the bells would toll bright and early.
ReplyDeleteYour apartment is a true definition of "compact"! Amazing what you can do with a little space. It's cute and homey. But why cold? You do have heat, right?
